I watched "The Blair Witch Project" on a dark, stormy night in a hotel room, by myself. When the tent started to move around, in the movie, as the three actors were still inside, a branch broke off a tree, outside the hotel, and hit my window. I never forgot that scene, or the shock that I got right at that moment !!

That's a seriously difficult question to answer. I have to say Stephen King's IT. That movie scarred me for life and I will still, to this day, cry like a child if I see a clown. My God. The Conjuring sent me into early labor. But I don't think it's as horrific as Pennywise. ugh. There goes my night. Thanks Sir.

The Exorcist is a good choice. So is the original Halloween, and Dawn of the Dead. But for me, watching The Ring alone on a stormy night on Whidbey Island, WA near where it was filmed was a big mistake. When she crawled out of the TV, that seriously messed me up.

It's that little girl. She just looks like she has issues. And of course, you have the most terrifying picture of her up there. Just in case my imagination wasn't on point, thank you for that. :/ I just know I'm going to see her walking like a crab down my stairs tonight. That was just awful. That's a tough one, I have several: The Ring (American version), The Shining (Stanley Kubrick version), Blair Witch Project and Event Horizon.
