PFC Michael Jansons4289114<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Let’s take it back a couple months. I was trying to get waivers to come back in as prior service (RE3 code). I was kicked out for a misconduct charge. I was found not guilty and charges dropped 5 MONTHS after being kicked out. My unit kicked me out before any kind of disposition. Come to find out I was wrongfully arrested as they were looking for someone else. Anyway, can anyone shed light on how the waivers process works now? Is it back to how it was before a ton of people got disqualified for ASVAB scores? Or am I wasting my time again. What is the current Army waivers process?2019-01-15T14:43:21-05:00PFC Michael Jansons4289114<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Let’s take it back a couple months. It sounds like a no brained unless you are leaving something out. Thank you for your service bResponse by CSM Darieus ZaGara made Jan 15 at 2019 3:12 PM2019-01-15T15:12:50-05:002019-01-15T15:12:50-05:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member4289320<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Has the recruiting office sent the waiver up? If so, they should be able to trace the workflow and see where its at. If not, gather all the documentation for the wrongful arrest, etc, write a detailed applicant statement, and work with them to get your waiver interviews done. Be aware that as a PS applicant, if you are approved to come back in your choice of MOS will be needs of the army.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 15 at 2019 4:13 PM2019-01-15T16:13:27-05:002019-01-15T16:13:27-05:001SG Private RallyPoint Member4289435<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You may want to consider correction of your record first, based solely on your post. If your separation was based solely on a matter brought by civil authorities, which the civil authorities cleared you of, you may stand a good chance at getting your record corrected. If your record is corrected it may be possible that you may no longer require a waiver.<br />I'm sure a search here will provide a link to the process.<br />If you weren't clear, even though charges may have been dropped, it will be a taller hurdle. Burden of proof is on you.Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 15 at 2019 4:52 PM2019-01-15T16:52:38-05:002019-01-15T16:52:38-05:00Ranger White4289859<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>From my current position I believe their letting USAREC take care of some waivers like they used to due to heavy workload for the surgeon general . Just resubmitted my paperwork to Meps & my written statement hopefully I’ll hear back in a week or twoResponse by Ranger White made Jan 15 at 2019 7:36 PM2019-01-15T19:36:31-05:002019-01-15T19:36:31-05:00LTC Charles T Dalbec4291114<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Obtain ALL of the documentation regarding your current status and send certified mail to ABCMR the Army Board for Correction of Military Records. Provide a copy of ALLto USAREC Recruiting Company Commander and sit back and wait for 6-9 months. You may want to enlist the help of your Congressional/Senatorial Representative. No easier way to resolve my friend. As a DA HR guru this is what I would have recommended to any case we received.Response by LTC Charles T Dalbec made Jan 16 at 2019 9:54 AM2019-01-16T09:54:09-05:002019-01-16T09:54:09-05:00SGT Eric Davis4302024<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>From personal experience a recode 3 is waiverable just have to find the right recruiter to work with you! Also try the national guard cause they can do things AD/reserve recruiters can’t do!Response by SGT Eric Davis made Jan 20 at 2019 12:33 PM2019-01-20T12:33:02-05:002019-01-20T12:33:02-05:002019-01-15T14:43:21-05:00
