What is the day to day life for a 68W4O in an AC/RC unit?

I'm heading to Fort Lewis in a couple months to join the 189th and I'm trying to get an idea of what the Day to Day is like. Anyone currently in the unit would be a great help.

Not in Unit but have served with the 555th Eng. You know the deal hurry up and wait, hip pocket training and after doing nothing all day "no one goes home till this grass is all cut". Minutes after "final" formation. Good luck and best believe you are getting a great duty station, regardless of your job.
