We are National Guard and it eats into our support of Annual Training. I thought we could do it ourselves in the Battalion. What is the latest information for National Guard 68Ws to recert ? 2023-03-06T12:27:55-05:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 8166423

My command team wants to know if we really have to go to the MSTC every other year to recert. Basic licensure, certification, registration criteria
(2) (a) and (b)

So yes, it is required, and even if you have the people certified to run it within the BN, it still takes the same number of days to complete and has the same impact on your support of AT.

Actually running it yourself costs your BN more total man-days to get it done:
You're burning days on some currently certified medics as instructors, and your PA to oversee, AND the the days on your medics that need recert. That leaves you with even less available for AT.

https://armypubs.army.mil/epubs/DR_pubs/DR_a/pdf/web/r40_68.pdf

r40_68.pdf

Response by SGM Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 6 at 2023 4:24 PM 2023-03-06T16:24:32-05:00 2023-03-06T16:24:32-05:00 2023-03-06T12:27:55-05:00
