What is the likelihood of reclassifying to a 42A as a SSG?

Anyone know the probability of a reclass to 42A as a SSG being accepted is?

I think you would have to talk to your career counselor to check in the in and out calls. I have a buddy who medically reclassed from 11B to 42A but that was done through the medical board.

I meet all requirements for in and out calls was just curious if anyone had an idea on the likelihood of it being approved

It happens all of the time.
All you need is to be qualified.

I just reclass to 42A last month.
It depends on if you current unit has the position on the UMR and that is vacant.
E-7's require a waiver to reclass but even they are usually granted.

If you current MOS allows you to move out and you are fully qualified for 42A skill level 3, I would say yes. Please see your unit Career Counselor today, for further guidance.
