What is the likelihood that I can get an ADHD waiver? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-the-likelihood-that-i-can-get-an-adhd-waiver

I am a civilian who is in the process of joining the Army. However, there is one barrier, which is the fact that I took ADHD medicine at one point. I have been off meds for over a year at this point, with my doctor closely monitoring my condition (who determined that I can function without it). I also recently graduated university with a GPA of 3.4 and scored a 91 on the ASVAB. ADHD is the only issue that I have. Hence, what is the likelihood that I can get a waiver for my problem? It is the medical condition. The fact that you have been diagnosed with ADHD will more than likely trigger a waiver request. The fact you have been off meds for over a year is a good thing.

If you are going to need a waiver request (and I suspect you will need one), be prepared to provide any and all documents to your Recruiter so that those can be pushed higher. The waiver is going to go very high (Recruiting Command ) level for review and approval/denial.

You need to be prepared to be told NO. I'm not saying you will be told no, but to just be prepared for it. Also, if you are told NO and that your waiver was denied...then understand that this will be the end of your race to enter the military.
