What is the living situation like in Amedd BOLC?

Per the orders, I will have a roommate. But many people are saying otherwise. Has anyone gone through recently? Only reason I ask is because I very much look forward to busting out my yoga mat with some privacy as I have been in quarantine with roommates for quiet some time.

The temp quarters they have for Officer students are usually two bed rooms, a common area and a kitchenette. You can call lodging and ask.

I had a shared kitchen and shower between separate rooms for ALC and SLC. if an E5 and E6 are billleted that way, I imagine that even a L-T would get that.

According to some Reddit posters, we will be in single rooms that have TVs, mini fridges and microwaves. I’ve heard the “roommate” on the orders is almost never the case unless you are housed off base. That could always change but I’d imagine that space wouldn’t be a huge issue in the on post hotels in this climate.

Per one of my soldiers currently there, the July 2020 AMEDD BOLC has folks in private rooms for quarantine purposes. But Im guessing you're there now, so you know this already. ;)

I went in 2018, it’s not bad. Everyone had their own room, unless it changed. Google IHG Army hotel BLDG 1384. You will have enough room for a yoga mat and privacy with free wifi. Once you FTX starts then it’s a shared tent and room will only on weekends. Goodluck! Ask a lot of questions and get as much as you can out of it.

In this Covid Environment the Army has gone away from doubling people up. We used LIK as part of our drill program for those that live )150 miles and they are housed in hotels with single king bed.
