Its not technically a system as in a computer system for the military but when your deployed its a system where you constanly have support. You have another member of your team that you can connnect with an talk to. When you get home everyone branches out and you lose the battle buddy system and it makes life harder. You get thrown into the real world where you have to deal with real life drama, bills, society and everyday people. You dont have your battle anymore to turn to and talk about the hardships of what your going through like you did and life seems so much harder. During deployment all you have to worry about is getting shot at, doing your job, and the auto payments that come out of your accountant that pay your bills.Response by SPC Arianne Detroy made Aug 30 at 2022 1:00 PM2022-08-30T13:00:46-04:002022-08-30T13:00:46-04:00PO1 David M Burns7852404<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The AC-130 Spectre Gunship!Response by PO1 David M Burns made Aug 30 at 2022 10:31 PM2022-08-30T22:31:12-04:002022-08-30T22:31:12-04:00PFC German Woodson7852451<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>M-79 lawResponse by PFC German Woodson made Aug 30 at 2022 11:18 PM2022-08-30T23:18:19-04:002022-08-30T23:18:19-04:00A1C Christopher Moseley7853677<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The Gatlin gun on the F15 and serving on the flight line.Response by A1C Christopher Moseley made Aug 31 at 2022 3:45 PM2022-08-31T15:45:50-04:002022-08-31T15:45:50-04:00SFC Sharon Roberts7853914<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My 9mm pistol. You didn't fly this helicopter, you strapped it on! You were part of the machine. If you leaned far enough left or right, it would turn. It was very nimble and you could do things just by thinking about it. Plus, we often flew single-pilot so it was all you. No co-pilot to back you up or talk on the radio or read a checklist. You flew, talked, wrote stuff down, tuned radios, threw switches, everything. (I dropped a few pencils out the side!) And yes, we mostly flew without the doors. Like a flying Jeep! No GPS, no 3-axis autopilot, no flight management system, or stability augmentation system, and no moving map display. You had a map, a compass, and your mark 1 eyeballs! Man, that was flying!Response by LTC Erik Spike Thiesmeyer, Sr. made Sep 15 at 2022 1:51 AM2022-09-15T01:51:09-04:002022-09-15T01:51:09-04:001stSgt Ronald Sheps7908737<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Red Eyes!
