Only reason I ask is I thought some of the SOCOM units do 6 month deployments and in some units those 6 month deployments might be more frequent than the regular deployments in a regular Army unit? Also when do you start counting a deployment? Arrival at an overseas country or departure from assigned Army post? Again, don&#39;t think an SF unit has the same amount of lead time before arrival in country that a regular Army unit has. I think this whole exercise would be pretty hard to figure out which MOS specifically but I am not a deployment expert either. Any SOF and that includes EOD, even though Navy is the only one that classifies them as SOF. You could probably add intel in with SOF as Joint Task Forces, along with SOF is PSYOPS AND CA Civil Affairs. <br /><br />#2 is close but Engineers and I know the 11B people will be mad, but they are all over the world doing CA/HA and Combat Support, 11B&#39;s are not, just two main areas.<br /><br />#3 Infantry 11B, and O300&#39;s<br /><br />#4 Aviation.<br /><br />#5 This would be a mix of Logistics and MP&#39;s and that also means Navy MA&#39;s, they work on Navy Riverine. <br /><br />Then if your Talking branch<br />Navy<br />Army and Marines<br />Airforce<br /><br />CG is stateside but they work their butts off. No matter the type of unit deployed, there is usually an MI professional sent with them or already in-place. Information drives all operations, no matter if it&#39;s combat, combat support, or combat service support. Intelligence is &quot;Always Out Front,&quot; even on the civilian side.<br /><br />To be more accurate to your question of &quot;which MOS.&quot; I&#39;d say 35F. As much of a plagiarizing, glory-hound MOS they are (with endearing love), they are an extremely important asset to all commanders and decision-makers, and are organic to most units, whether for administrative or operational purposes. They are a difficult MOS to keep populated, because they are always in high-demand in the civilian sector. If you mean as a whole branch then Infantry, due to sheer numbers, if you mean in which job would I deploy the most then it&#39;s likely CMFs 18, 37, and 38 - aka SOF, 6 months on and if you&#39;re lucky 12 off, rinse repeat, plus schools and training events.
