What is the most hilariously cringeworthy thing you have seen an ROTC cadet do or say?

Haha. As much as I don't like ROTC cadets, in some of their defense, hat doesn't apply to the prior service cadets.

I saw one post about abolishing the electoral college once. Oh, and there's the time when I saw one claim that Cuba came up with a viable lung cancer vaccine.

Cadet PFC (Join to see) - Actually that gives me hope. You're so young that you don't know what you don't know. Good. You can still grow up.

SN Greg Wright - Yeah keep telling yourself that. You know that the myth that "people get more conservative as they age," is nothing but a lie, right?

Cadet PFC (Join to see) - I'm not hopeful you'll turn conservative. Not sure where you got that. I'm hopeful you'll learn to open your mind. Hopeful that you'll learn that people who don't agree with you aren't automatically racist/sexist/whatever-ist. Hopeful that you'll arrive at a point where you can step back and say, 'Hmm. Am I wrong about this issue?". Because people your age rarely, rarely ever do. *Shrugs* Just human nature. I was like that, the guy next to you is probably like that.

Cadet PFC (Join to see) - He didn't say that or even imply that. Quit looking for offence where there is none. Believe it or not we can help you and I don't mean politics. If you want to be a future leader then open your mind and heart and learn from those that has led.

In front of a room full of NCOs at a base visit, one cadet stood up and gave his assessment on important leadership principles. As soon as he said: "It's important to recognize your team when achieving success...even the little people like junior enlisted" ...I couldn't look up from the ground.
