What is the normal turnaround time for a Fort Rucker Flight Physical?

I submitted my Flight Physical at the end of Jan and had my corpsman look up the status and it says last viewed early March. Is this the normal turnaround time? I ask because several of my Officers submitted theirs to the Navy and already have theirs returned.

It took me about 2/3 weeks. But then again that may be because I'm Army and it may take a little more time since you're Navy

I'm not sure exactly how long it is for pilots but for a class 4 flight physical it doesn't take longer than 2 weeks. Unless your results are controversial, then it may take a while. I have a waiver so I know every year mine will take a bit longer to be approved.

I do apologize I do not have that information as I am a technical warrant officer and policies at Fort Ruckers can be very fluid. I would check with either a senior flight warrants officer or you're human resources personnel. Stay persistent never quit and give them 100% good luck

My initial flight physical to come to flight school took 4-5 weeks to get approved and sent back to me; and I was active duty army at that time. If you are on a tight time hack to get your packet in or something like that I would say to talk to your doctors and see if they can get the process expedited, or track down the number to the approving flight surgeons office and give them a call.

My recommendation is send any physical paperwork overnight with a prepaid over night return envelope. Now that's how we got fast turn arounds 17 years ago. Things have changed I'm sure, but keep the ball in your court by keeping control of your packet. Fast turn around doing as mentioned above, especially if you are shooting for a specific board date, and also may need corrections. DO NOT let it get lost in Distro!
