I have an extensive collection of coins. Most recently I have been collecting Morgan Silver Dollars. The oldest I have thus far is an 1881 in very fine #2 condition. I have pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters halves and dollars, including the entire statehood quarters, P & D mints. There are so many ways to collect.

What is your oldest coin and what types do you normally collect?

I have a 1836 Half Dollar that was given to me for a days work as a child. Still my favorite coin. I prefer American coins, but have brought a few home for the 30 or so countries I have been to.

Awesome! Amazing how so many people don't see the beauty and significance in coinage. Quite a history lesson!
