What is the overall general attitude of those in uniform today to the election of Donald Trump?

A good friend of mine is a Retention NCO in a Combat Arms unit. I asked what the general attitude was like in his unit after the election of Donald Trump. He said quote "There is an attitude and spirit of pervasive Hope, Joy and Optimism." end quote. He also said that retention rates are way way up, with more Soldiers reenlisting since Clinton is NOT going to be the CinC. What say you all?

Well, Hillary, looks like IT DID make a difference!!! :-)
I lost all respect for the former Secretary Of State when she asked "What difference does it make?" when talking about dead American Heroes, and when Rep Trey Gowdy (R-SC) reviewed and found that she had denied requests for more support and better weaponry for the security details in Libya. the Difference is that it DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

SPC (Join to see) - After watching every minute that I could find on you tube and C Span about the incident you CAN NOT blame Sequestration for this. the ambassador asked for a machinegun for the roof of the embassy....Secretary Clinton and her staff said NO. republicans demanding that the Obama Administration get it's spending under control had not one damn thing to do with:
1) Refusing to take one of those Machineguns that are excess on every TRADOC Base and posting it to the Embassy
2) Putting more Military Personnel on site
3) Preventing the entire incident.

My feeling is neutral towards the election of the new CIC. I am neither hopeless or optimistic. It's pretty much a wait-and-see game for me. Anyways, he is The person the American people chose. Once he get his inaugurated, he will get the same respect I have given all prior CIC, as I am duty bound to do.

I'm not in no more. I wouldn't have wanted a female president, so I'm happy there. Not sure about Trump though. I would have liked if better had it been McMillan. I'll await cautiously, but I'm alright with it because some in Congress and the Senate like Ryan and McCain.

Who was front and center a Hillary convention. BLM, illegal Aliens. Had to be shamed into having an American Flag and a moment of silence for police officers . Who were assasinated by BLM supporters. And yelling BLM during the moment of silence.
