Did you sign up for 0651 and before school started, you were re-classed to Field Radio Operator? What was the justification for this change?Response by Sgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 22 at 2017 10:41 PM2017-06-22T22:41:26-04:002017-06-22T22:41:26-04:00A1C Mathew Wood2672375<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Are there any more details on this?<br />These aren't washouts are they?Response by A1C Mathew Wood made Jun 22 at 2017 11:40 PM2017-06-22T23:40:56-04:002017-06-22T23:40:56-04:00CPT Lawrence Cable2673084<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You can challenge it, but it's probably a lost cause. Almost every contract has that "needs of the service" clause.Response by CPT Lawrence Cable made Jun 23 at 2017 9:57 AM2017-06-23T09:57:39-04:002017-06-23T09:57:39-04:00CSM Richard StCyr2674227<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>We had a similar situation with our firefighters around 06-07. Basically after research and discussion with the IG, at that time if the Soldier had completed the training and served a year in their contracted MOS they were open for involuntary reclass due to needs of the Army and restructuring. Don't know if the Marines have the same situation.<br />You can always challenge anything but success is another thing as HRC wouldn't put it out without researching it.<br />Contact your 1SG and then talk to the IG.Response by CSM Richard StCyr made Jun 23 at 2017 3:55 PM2017-06-23T15:55:04-04:002017-06-23T15:55:04-04:002017-06-22T22:32:50-04:00
