What was the justification for this change?Sgt Private RallyPoint MemberThu, 22 Jun 2017 22:41:26 -04002017-06-22T22:41:26-04:00Response by A1C Mathew Wood made Jun 22 at 2017 11:40 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You can challenge it, but it's probably a lost cause. Almost every contract has that "needs of the service" clause.CPT Lawrence CableFri, 23 Jun 2017 09:57:39 -04002017-06-23T09:57:39-04:00Response by CSM Richard StCyr made Jun 23 at 2017 3:55 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>We had a similar situation with our firefighters around 06-07. Basically after research and discussion with the IG, at that time if the Soldier had completed the training and served a year in their contracted MOS they were open for involuntary reclass due to needs of the Army and restructuring. Don't know if the Marines have the same situation.<br />You can always challenge anything but success is another thing as HRC wouldn't put it out without researching it.<br />Contact your 1SG and then talk to the IG.CSM Richard StCyrFri, 23 Jun 2017 15:55:04 -04002017-06-23T15:55:04-04:002017-06-22T22:32:50-04:00
