What is the process for a civilian flight medic to become an Army flight medic? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-the-process-for-a-civilian-flight-medic-to-become-an-army-flight-medic

Really interested in the Army dustoff program. Background: current major certs NRP, FP-C, CCP-C. And yes I do have all those required abc cert classes as well.
My question is, what is the process for a civ flight medic to become a army flight medic? I’ve talked to local recruiters and even the AMEDD recruiter and they couldn’t answer my question. I know, of course go through basic, but I’m guessing I can just accelerate through the 68w AIT. I’m wondering if anyone here knows the exact process. Any related info would be awesome! Thanks in advance. The most difficult part would be getting into the flights paramedic program. Many soldiers wait years for a slot. Are you looking at active duty or guard?
