What is the process for getting an assignment deleted?

I am 25b. I got a projection to a base. I have a sponsor but he haven’t complete his 5434. I have no order yet. I emailed my branch manager to request to go to another base. She respond me, she told me to go to my unit S1 to request for deletion of my current assignment. My NCO said I need 4187 for the request. I have a friend he do the same things. But branch manager didn’t ask him to do what I need to do. I am confused. Anyone know what I need to do? I am currently on a oversea assignment and still have about five months left.

You need to sit down with your Career Counselor. There's too many variables you haven't given to us that affect what you can do and what you're eligible to do.
