The recruiters need this to be able to work your accession packet into the USAF. Always good to make sure you have gathered together as much supporting documents you can for your accession packet on your own so very little is left but to sign and provide them the copy of the conditional release. Talk to the recruiter on the checklist for your packet and find out what else you need to gather while the conditional release is going thru the system. I believe you have to ETS and then begin the enlistment process to the Air Force.

Keep in mind, the Air Force has a prior service quota and you need to fit into that quota or no dice SSG Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 28 Oct 2020 13:54:15 -0400 2020-10-28T13:54:15-04:00 Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 28 at 2020 2:01 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-the-process-to-transition-from-army-to-air-force?n=6447356&urlhash=6447356

I was just informed by a career counseler that contacted division who contacted HRC and said a 368 can't be done unless I have 3 months left or less on my contract for active duty. Pretty big disappointment. SSG Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 28 Oct 2020 14:01:11 -0400 2020-10-28T14:01:11-04:00 2020-10-28T12:39:39-04:00
