Or does do the Pathfinders in a unit adopt the map symbol of whatever unit they're supporting? What is the proper Pathfinder unit map symbol?2015-10-20T17:59:09-04:00SSG Carlos Madden1053729<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm hoping someone from the Pathfinder school can help RallyPoint and point us in the right direction of the proper map symbol for a Pathfinder unit, if it exists. It is pretty much a tasking now. You would most likely send in your scouts to perform your pathfinder duties.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 21 at 2017 11:57 AM2017-08-21T11:57:09-04:002017-08-21T11:57:09-04:00LTC Private RallyPoint Member2862029<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Last I knew there were still two pathfinder companies, one in the 101 Combat Aviation Brigade and one in the 82 Combat Aviation Brigade. The doctrinal symbol would only be a standard infantry company symbol though. The new ADRP 1-02 does not have a new symbol.Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 24 at 2017 12:24 AM2017-08-24T00:24:46-04:002017-08-24T00:24:46-04:00PO2 Willis Linn2862447<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>mapping units locations we sometimes used a jeep on the intelligence board with an "S" for scouts at least when I was in the National Guard.Response by PO2 Willis Linn made Aug 24 at 2017 8:28 AM2017-08-24T08:28:27-04:002017-08-24T08:28:27-04:00CW3 Private RallyPoint Member2870676<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>We (101st Pathfinder Company) used to use the standard Infantry symbol, but add both the Airborne & Air Assault designations to the symbol. Seeing as most of us were all Air Assault (typically a pre-requisite before attending Pathfinder at Campbell) and Airborne qualified.Response by CW3 Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 27 at 2017 9:31 AM2017-08-27T09:31:30-04:002017-08-27T09:31:30-04:002015-10-20T17:59:09-04:00
