I'm *not* referring to service obligation for attending a military school, I'm referring to a post-deployment requirement.

c. Performing duty within six months of Expiration Term of Service (ETS) or
Mandatory Removal Date (MRD). ADOS-RC duty must not fall within six months of the Soldier’s ETS or MRD. This requirement may be waived where exceptional military need exists and the Soldier can complete the mission before ETS or MRD. The MSC Commander is the approval authority for requests to perform duty within six months of ETS or MRD.
