If reported after 18th birthday, the odds of getting a conviction are cut in half ten-fold. As for suing, you cant sue the Army. However, anyone can sue anyone else for literally any, or no, reason in civil court. That said, 51 years is a long time. evidence could be lost, witnesses could have died, etc. It&#39;s always a hard sell trying to sue the govt for anything. Personally, I would advise against it after such a long period of time simply because your chances of success are very low and, unless you&#39;re rich, you&#39;re going to spend a lot of money with little or no return.
