I had to get a waiver for retained hardware. I submitted mine when I was still at MEPS around 11 that morning. Literally thirty minutes later, the Navy Liaison came into the cafeteria and said my waiver had been approved. I was able to sign a contract that day. It&#39;s different for everyone though. I&#39;ve heard of people&#39;s taking several months. Assuming MEPS submitted your paperwork today, you should know if your waiver is approved within the next 3 weeks then again you probably have to add a week for the holiday.
