A fellow NCO PCS'd without his family and got G1 to have them PCS after him. He just tried to buy tickets and found out his GTCC was turned off. DTS and finance said they cannot help him. What are his options?

What is written in his orders? There should be a statement and funding acct about his movement and then that of his family. If not he is SOL.

SSG Cameron "KB" Kingsbury As recommended by other RP members, he simply needs to contact the unit that is paying for this move. It could be that the accounting folks never turned on his funds. I think the first lesson here is to take notes in the PCS Transportation class ( if the installation still does this) and take an advance. I don't think I ever PC'd without having finance pay me a portion up front and then I submitted my travel voucher upon arrival and received the remainder.

The GTCC is controlled by the losing unit. Calling Citi or Finance won't get it turned back on. He's not authorized to use an AER loan to purchase it either; if he self purchases he may not get reimbursed after.
A simple call back to the losing unit card manager will fix it.
