This statistic shows the road rage behavior among drivers in the United States as of April 2015. During the survey, 53 percent of the respondents said they had been on the receiving end of a rude gesture from another driver. Have you ever been the victim of Road Rage? Are you one of those aggressive drivers that has a tendency to commit Road Rage? Now be truthful, and if you do have Road Rage tendencies, what triggers set you off?

Sgt David G Duchesneau This is just my theory. People have a awareness of personal space and invading or violating that personal space unless invited causes people to feel agitated. People are in their vehicles so often stuck in traffic etc.... that they have come to view their vehicles as an extension of themselves, thus their personal space now also includes the area around their vehicle. When the area around their vehicle is violated they perceive this to be rude, disrespectful, and possibly even threatening, even if it is by accident or necessity and this is the reason we see so much road rage.

You could be right Captain but it sure doesn't make it right. It seems that people are too much in a hurry to get to where they are going and most of the time, they actually are going nowhere. There is no excuse for Road Rage and anyone who have these tendencies, eventually it will catch up to them . They will act out their aggression and in the end, no one wins!
