What is wrong with Privates these days?
I do NOT want to be the guy who wrote this note. While he claims in the note that he does not have a death wish, the fact he wrote this note to his DS demonstrates otherwise. Is this the kind of Privates the army has to deal with these days?

Now now gentlemen. He may be that 1 in 10,000,000 that may be a natural and has no issues with any type of additional training or mentoring.

Then again half of you guys fucked up in the lower enlisted realm. I know a SPC P who, in basic training, thought itd be a good idea to ask the drill sergeant if it was okay to date one of the other soldiers. A female. I think his balls fell off after the 300 push ups

Its scary knowing that this has happen..... A fellow NCO said to me once before. "Its my job to recruit them and that its yours to trained them". Agree or Disagree? I concur. We want the best of everything but sometime we need to shine,chip,crush that rock to make a gem.
