I don&#39;t necessarily support either candidate; but&lt; I think the year before the national election is a great time to have a wide field of candidates discussing the issues, staking out positions and altering them if presented with new information [the good]; shifting their positions bases on with poll results [the bad]; and attempting to divide ius or lead us astray [the ugly].
