What is your experience with USAJOBS? Has it been good or bad? (A Texas rep will receive this information.)

I think the idea of USAJOBS is great but many people are applying and getting turned down.

USAJobs.gov is not really very good. The resume that you can build is really not functional nor printer friendly. Job applications get lost, at least in my experience, a week or two after you initially submit the application.
And I do not know what USAJobs.gov can do, but there is almost never any feedback or status updates even when you ask to be notified about jobs closing.

In the question above, please be specific. In my case, early on in the application process, I could have done a better job on my own resumes. However, in the past six months, I know my resumes have been much better and have been specific to the jobs I am applying for. Just want to give a good overall account of the system.

I have been using USAJobs to apply for many jobs and although I am usually qualified/overqualified, I never get a call or an email, despite sending 10+ resumes/CV per week. But hey I may be an outlier, and luckily I have enough work in the private sector to keep me going.
