I'm a beer connoisseur! For mass produced beers I like Guinness, Sam Adams, and the different Kona Breweries varieties. I also enjoy many craft beers.

The Sculpin Grapefruit IPA is $$ but my current favorite. Locally, Boston, the Plum Island beers are very good.

I would say I love all types. Stouts are my favorite but Leinenkugal is the all time best beer. It is from northwestern Wisconsin

So I guess I should chime in on this little beer-fest. When I'm slumming it or it's blistering hot outside, I go for a PBR. My everyday favorites are from New Belgium Brewing with Ranger topping the list. I am definitely an IPA guy. I just assume not even smell a lager. That said, there is a beer I run across every once and a while in my travels called Arrogant Bastard, that is an excellent brew. I've never turned down a Guinness.

My personal all-time favorite is Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. In fact, I like almost everything Sam makes except IPAs (I don't like overly bitter hops tastes). I'm also a fan of Sierra Nevada, Dogfishhead, Flying Dog, and a few others. On the international side, I like Kirin for some strange reason, as well as genuine Hefeweisen like Franziskaner, and Newcastle. For a day out by the pool with family, Redd's Apple/Strawberry ales as well as Angry Orchard work well.

I am quite partial to Belgian Lambics and Gueuzes, so definitely anything from Cantillon. Though knowing how rare those are in the States I will probably transition to something a little easier to find, probably some of the Paradox beers that are supposed to be easy to get in the Springs.

SGT, these are pretty common beers. If I knew I could only choose from crap, I'd probably choose Guinness (busing your balls, brother). However, if you allowed me to choose from some distinct craft brews, I'd have a harder time making a choice. Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout is one of my all time favorites. If you're into dessert stouts, the Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Milk Stout is hard to surpass.

-Deschutes Brewery Mirror Pond Pale Ale
-Guinness Stout

Runner-up-Widmer Hefeweizen or anything by Ninkasi Brewery.
