My favorite Christmas memories are home-home (where I grew up, in my parents' house), PO1 Steven Kuhn. During my active duty career, I loved to surprise my mother and father by coming home for Christmas without notice. I didn't do it a lot, twice that I recall, but it was the best feeling -- for me and for them.

My favorite Christmas while in the navy was 1987. Bob Hope and the U.S.O. came aboard our ship while we were in the Persian Gulf during the Iran Iraqi war...USS IOWA (BB-61)
