There was a small shop in the French Quarter of Naw'leens that sold nothing but hot sauces from all over the world. Must have been several thousand different bottles - size, shape, flavor, strength - in that little store. I remember a section that included about a hundred or so of THE hottest Hot Sauces in the world. The owner "jokingly" said you only use these on food eaten while in a Trauma 1 Emergency Room!!!

More often than not, I can enjoy an MRE without using any sauce. Also, my colon just doesn't much care for hot sauce anymore.

Oh Franks is sooooo good on Chicken! My friend used to mix Franks with butter and put it on her chicken wings. So yummy!

Anything with habaneros, jalapenos, ghost peppers or chilies in it that would kill my taste buds long enough to choke down the MRE. The MRE's did not come with a sufficient amount of Tobasco to kill the taste. Crystal Louisiana extra hot did do wonders. Although the MRE was better than T-Rats, except for the spice cake.

Picante mild or hot...but not the thick and saucy Picante...then I like Chinese Hot Oil or HOME made PICADIGALLO. Yum...
