Bringing our little girl home from the hospital. I remember our daughter was sleeping, house was really quiet and both of us sat down thinking – "wow, now we are really on our own with this"

After meeting and taking care of Lawyer paperwork for my lady (7mo), I met her at Warsaw Poland airport. She is from the Ukraine and had to go through an interview at the Embassy.
I could not find her. She was dressed like an old lady with two sacks. One on each side of her and looking down.
I could tell, she was scared to death. The older gentleman who was my Taxi driver, we both look at each other and shook our heads. I then talked to her quietly and took her to a 5 Star hotel two blocks from the Embassy where she called her Mother.
I gave her a gold necklace and a giant diamond ring. We were married three months later and she is now in charge.

Our wedding. Most unusual...I was sent to Camp Zama Japan in January of 1973. my wife and 2 sons stayed in Wisconsin. A few months later I got this really heavy letter. I couldn't help but wonder how a standard size letter could be so heavy. I opened it and found a letter wrapped around a bunch of pictures. The pictures were of a new car Diane had purchased. Also inside were the keys to the car.

Shipped our Harley from Guam 7,195 miles to the US mainland, then riding to Sturgus SD, just to get married at 1200hrs in the middle of downtown Main street at the, "Hitching Post".
I planned that day for a year, and at one time I planned to go to Australia and get married on the beach, but Sturgus was a dream come true.

Our wedding, honeymoon, vow renewal, trips to her family in Hawaii, proposing to her, month vacation in my family's mountain cabin, taking our 1st son home...taking our 2nd son home. And we're making memories now still.
