Everyone keeps asking about movies military related. Favorite ones, quotes, scenes, etc. And, of course, the worst of the bunch. So, what's your favorite movie that has nothing to do with military?

For me, its The Godfather. By far, the greatest movie ever put on film in my humble opinion

Lets see here:

"Midnight Run" - an underrated De Niro classic
"Mystery Men" - zany, loony comedy at its best not to mention the Disco Boys
"The Gumball Rally" - move over "Cannonball Run", this was the original
"The Devil Wears Prada" - I know what you're all thinking but it is a great flick and Mrs. Tom Brady has a small role in it
"Running Scared" - great typical 80's cop flick with Billy Crystal & Gregory Hines

Casablanca, for it's twisty plot, and it's incredibly witty and piercing dialogue that seamlessly injects humor into a serious and dire plot and set of circumstances. When I show the movie to younger persons, I make them turn their phones off. Casablanca is ALL dialogue, if you're looking at your phone you're going to miss something important.

1) All the Disney Pixar Toy Story Movies
2) Cars
3) Finding Nemo
4) Curious George (I wasn't a big fan of Will Smith doing 'the Man in the Yellow Hat's' voice in the 1st one....). Big fan of the tunes/music in Curious George 2...
5) Monsters, Inc.
6) Up
7) Despicable Me 1 + 2 (I am sure we will be adding the new Minions Movie to the list soon enough...)

(I have a 2 1/2 y/o son, by the way....lol) :)

Wow. I used to think I watched a lot of movies. I guess that was the 70’s and 80’s!
There will never be enough time to watch all the movies I want to watch.
I remember going to the base Movie Exchange to get the week’s movies for my ship. If you didn’t get there early enough, there would only be “B” or worse!
