Germany and Korea were both great. I was in Vielseck just as they were really building it up. Brand new barracks etc. Korea....was just fun. Good training and plenty to do on off duty time.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 24 at 2015 7:24 PM2015-04-24T19:24:16-04:002015-04-24T19:24:16-04:00CPT Bob Moore617153

I really enjoyed Korea. I might add, however, that it was also my only traditional overseas duty station.

Now, that is not to say that it was my favorite overseas assignment ... that would be a toss-up between Geneva, Switzerland and Pretoria, South Africa (I did a Marine Security Guard tour at each of these locations).

I also did embassy duty assignments in Moscow, U.S.S.R. and Beirut, Lebanon; as well as several temporary duty assignments throughout Europe and the Middle East.Response by GySgt Wayne A.
