With so much negativity being tied to getting stationed at "Why not Minot", what is your favorite thing about Minot? It can be something about the base, the town, the people, whatever.

Stability, community (the north dakotans), much lower crime rate than the rest of the country, lower population.

Especially in our career there is stability! I agree the local community has been very warm and welcoming to me personally. Thank you for sharing!

I was there from 1996 to 2004, 23rd Bomb Sq. The people I worked for made that place worth it. I made life long friendships from that place. It has a special place in my heart. Cold too...very cold.

Yes that is one thing that will be the most difficult if/when I leave, moving on without my friends.
