LTC Gavin Heater 691695 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>What is your perspective? Do you look towards the future, live in the present and current time or reflect and maybe dwell on the past? As a Solider I was always taught the importance of knowing past battles and conflicts, maximizing successes and minimizing failures. As a result, I tended to focus more on the past, with an eye to the future and a toe hold in the present. As a retiree, I find myself more reflective and more fond of relishing old successes. So, what is your perspective: future, current or past? What is your perspective? Every day I think of how I could have been better to people I was growing up with, not that I was mean, not at all. I don't think about my career much, the only time I do, its on this site. I think about today which is like every other day. I also think about the future, and it saddens me that I feel I can't win before I die. I think it's important to know where we came from. Also, history has a way of repeating itself. It's important to live in the present and appreciate and not take for granted all that's in front of you. The future, well if you're not looking, working, or at least considering your future, where does that lead you? I think all 3 are equally as important. Although the past is written and we can't change it, hopefully we can learn from it and improve the future.
