This question was asked sometime in 2014 when most of us weren't even here, so I decided to ask it as a new question. After all, don't we need something to distract us from all the politics?

My pet peeve is plastic. This was brought home to me about ten minutes ago as I attempted to unwrap some purchases I made at Costco today. There were razor blades held together behind a plastic bubble welded to a piece of cardboard fashioned from a sheet of steel cut from a battleship. There was the plastic wrap bundling a lifetime supply of paper towels. Another bundling a lifetime supply of Kleenex. (At my age anything more than a couple may be a lifetime supply). I save those wraps and tap them together to form a shelter in case of nuclear holocaust. I'm climbing in and taping the slit closed behind me.

Yes!! That's why I park as far away as possible if I go to the store. I'll walk the extra distance. Door dings really piss me off. No consideration at all.

I have a fresh sheet. (I always keep a few around for emergencies) Would you like me to send you one?

Stop teasing...
So there I was no s@&$. We were loading conexs in Iraq. Somehow a entire roll of bubble wrap appeared (I mean industrial roll). An entire Infantry platoon stopped any and all work and it was "game on". It's the small things in life that mean soooo much...lol

SFC (Join to see) - Back in the days of main frame computers we moved one from one tunnel to another in Hawaii. Each component was wrapped in huge bubbles. After unpacking, we laid the sheets out on the hallway floor and rode swivel office chairs across them. Fun!
