Unfortunately, army experience will not give me chance to take A&P Test(as I know).
Is there any other job opportunities in civil sector for 15T Reservist? Not only a mechanic I still consider many jobs.
Add, If I want to get A&P License, May I use COOL program or JSAMTCC Program to get the license?
Thank you. What job opportunities exist in civilian sector for 15T Reservists?2020-04-17T12:41:40-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member5786425

I recently signed up 15T Army Reservist.
A United mechanic who was airforce mechanic told me I will have a chance to take test for A&P license after AIT, but I couldn't find any information about it.
I wish to get related job in civilian sector about 15T Blackhawk repairer, but my research has limitation about A&P license. Apply at endeavor airlines as a maintenance helper until you have your 30 months military experience. You will NOT be able to take an a&p exam after AIT. That is misinformation. Do your due diligence get your forms 8610 signed off (look up the number) after you are qualified. Then after an additional 3 years become an IA. There aren't shortcuts to an A&P faster than that. When you're ready go pay the piper at a crash course school like Baker's.Response by CPL(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 21 at 2020 4:36 PM2020-04-21T16:36:38-04:002020-04-21T16:36:38-04:002020-04-17T12:41:40-04:00
