Hopefully a mutual respectful working relationship SPC Andrew Griffin.
Since Paul Ryan is an expert at budget and financial matters hopefully he will be able to guide the Congress to develop a principled and efficient budget [that would be an amazing feat:-)].

When Congress and the executive branch agree, one thing if certain... They are agreeing to spend even more of our money.... Or in our case, more money we don't have... I.e. borrowed against the labors of our children and their children.

Obama doesn't have to go to Congress for anything. He calls a treaty so no need for congress approval. Executive orders on immigration. No need for congress to do anything. And the Next nugget is not do for one year after Obama has left office.
So does it really matter?

With the budget and debt ceiling taken care of until 2017, there shouldn't be a lot of heavy lifting for a while.

I'm sure they'll find something to lock heads over, though.

Well Ryan could share with Obama his workout routine he was so fond of showing off when he was running for VP, and Obama could show him his skills on the mic (YouTube "Head of the Muthaf*in State" or "I got 99problems and Mitt ain't One")...or just let Biden debate with him again. It was priceless the first time if you like watching someone's "father" laugh at everything the "son" says. In all seriousness ain't nothing gonna change. One knows he's out the door in 18 months, and the other has to fight in his own party to stay the 18 months. No winners in this one.

I expect a lot of angry and strong rhetoric from Mr. Ryan, and a strong case of the IDGAFs from President Obama. I doubt it will change anything, basically.

I suspect there will be a rhetorical detente during the honeymoon period, but nothing major will get done (since all of the heavy lifting is off the table). Then, things will get ugly as the fall election nears.
