What should we be looking for in Senior NCOs to keep? What are the contents of the "cream of the crop"? Taking care of Soldiers is a 'gimme', let's hear what really makes a NCO a good co-worker, leader, peer, and subordinate. What makes a good Senior NCO? 2015-01-08T03:55:15-05:00 MSG Private RallyPoint Member 407477 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As the Army is down-sizing and in a recent publication of SFC MOS's being specifically targeted for QSP (i.e. 11B, 19K, etc). You are Marty (from madagascar). to anyone from the outside looking in, youre just another zebra. you look the same as the next guy. you sound the same too. to those that know you, well, they know how to look at you to see how you are better than the rest. the selection process isnt perfect. heck, i dont like it much at all. but it is the best process we have. hopefully, this new NCOER will make those stellar performers stand out a little better. Train them and teach them by leading by example. If you see something out of place fix it, use everything as a training tool Response by SFC Bruce Pettengill made Sep 29 at 2015 12:24 PM 2015-09-29T12:24:09-04:00 2015-09-29T12:24:09-04:00 2015-01-08T03:55:15-05:00
