What military courses would you recommend to take?

I’m looking for some courses to see if my command will let me go to. I know about going to schools like Airborne, Ranger, and Sapper and also the professional development schools like BLC, ALC, and so on. Are their any courses the Army offers that you would recommend taking that aren’t your historically iconic schools?

Look into courses listed in AR 350-1, college, and courses specific to your MOS / CMF.

As an LPN you should be seeking training, I say again, training that will compliment your MOS. Don’t look at schooling as a way to get “points” or fill your ERB. Each course should serve a purpose to make you more valuable to the Army. What does your Company Commander need? UPL, EOL, etc. What professional certifications can you earn as an LPN? ACLS, BLS, TCCC, Enroute Casualty Care Course? I’d speak with a 4O Level LPN and the RNs you work with.
