Include what you think the challenges are. We will use this post to help you understand how the roles do transfer over....lets get it started. To help viewers benefit the most in this post would you include the main area the numeric MOS series cover like 68 is in the medical area. My belief is that all jobs have transferrable skills because It is not limited to your daily activities. I hope there is an opportunity to demonstrate transferrable skills of MOS's in this string.

I think you need to look in terms of profitability too. For example, I left the Marines as a Food Service Specialist 3381 which was a transferable skill, but I could not support a family with that skill as many food service jobs in the civilian sector started at a low wage with no benefits. When I left the Army, I not only had transferable skills as a 25 B and 254 A, but very profitable transferable skills thanks to the Army! In the Army, I was a lot maturer, so I left with a Bachelor degree and certifications, so my transition into civilian life was a lot easier.

It depends on how you look at it. An infantryman is a business man. You are tasked with taking your squad in a sector and you own 100% of the market share. The enemy comes in and take 20% of your market share what do you do? You get with the G-2 get some intel, determine the trends in the area are they attacking at night in the day males, females, Develop and plan to enter you market to regain your market share. I did not once say you are shooting. Remember an infantryman has to be strategic and tactical. What do you thin about that explanation?

Ok but you taking it from a point of what infantryperson is suppose to do. destroy the enemy with anmo and explosives. Now in the civilian workforce that doesn't apply. remember seek and destroy will get you 5 to ten. I know.

Taking the initiative, employers in the sector take advantage of our Military work ethic.

Sure Chief, I mean they pay you as little as possible even when you do more work than any two and sometimes three people around you.
