Being able to produce the best possible product to those who need it, whether it is ensuring travel is correct and tickets issued and vouchers paid correctly or making sure automated workflows and sharepoint directories are operational and providing the service that the teams need.

Motivated? As I used the term in the army: nothing.

I work hard because if I don't, they may fire me. There's no real over-sight, which I thought was a good thing. In fact, their main reason for hiring was because I understood what needed to be done and could handle it by myself, which is completely true. But my employer's expectations are impossible.

I stay because my resume looks like crap; full of temp-jobs and part-time employment since 2011.

But, coffee helps.

Just being a soldier is enough. But the biggest motivation is Knowing where am at is a stepping stone to bigger things in the Army, and knowing I am going to work hard everyday is what motivates me.

Setting an example that Soldiers can look at and say to themselves "when I get to where he is I want to have that amount of confidence in myself, my job, and my soldiers!" I like to set personal suspenses to get things done, so meeting them is a big motivator as well...keeping me ahead of the power curve!! Lastly growth!! I want to learn something new as often as possible so I can be more well rounded and knowledgeable.

I'm retired. But when I worked as a testing technetion at AT&T, maintenance. I would pull up all the trouble tickets and grab all the ones that were related. Over five tickets is considers and outage. I worked on major outages. Coordinating repair and design changes.
