I prefer metal before metal was named as such. Late 50's through the 60's. However there is one fairly new group with quite a club following the bands name is Fireball Ministry. Only released 4 albums so far but I love them all. Long live Black Sabbath, Elf, Rainbow, Steppenwolf, Ronnie James Dio and others who laid the foundations for todays Heavy Metal Music.Response by SPC Charles Brown made Jun 13 at 2014 9:07 PM2014-06-13T21:07:40-04:002014-06-13T21:07:40-04:00LCpl Steve Wininger153758<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Like you SGT Spartley, I love every genre and type of music there is. I have moods where I will listen to a certain group or genre. Introducing my daughter to traditional Chinese was interesting. I must say she surprised me, usually she goes to her bedroom and shuts the door, but she liked several of the selections I introduced her to. Although she isn't ready to run out and purchase any, she does tolerate it when I am playing it. I love classical music for the relaxing qualities of it. Traditional Chinese is similar to classical and I find it good to relax to, or study to. <br /><br />If I am working outside or around the house, anything upbeat. My playlist covers about every genre there is. Music feeds the soul, and can lift the spirits.Response by LCpl Steve Wininger made Jun 13 at 2014 9:15 PM2014-06-13T21:15:59-04:002014-06-13T21:15:59-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member153772<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Anyone ever listen to Egypt Central?Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 13 at 2014 9:30 PM2014-06-13T21:30:26-04:002014-06-13T21:30:26-04:00MAJ Private RallyPoint Member153782<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Finnish Folk Metal. <br /><br />Behold Korpiklaani's Wooden Pints. Everything else is pretty much on the playlist. Incidentally, after my recent assignment to Korea, I have grown a distinct taste for K-pop. Don't understand a damn thing they are saying, but they are entertaining to watch, and a lot of those songs actually have good beats.Response by LTC Paul Labrador made Jun 13 at 2014 9:46 PM2014-06-13T21:46:36-04:002014-06-13T21:46:36-04:00PO1 William "Chip" Nagel153812<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I don't know about introduced but returning to my roots after retiring.
