What on-post housing community at Fort Rucker would you recommend?

I lived in Bowden Terrace in the newer housing. It was great! You can send them specific preferences too. Like no neighbors behind your house, not on a main road, next to a park, etc.

Both on post and off will be good options. I would recommend Enterprise for off post. I live in Enterprise in a 2 bedroom, save a little bah every month and I am 6 minutes from the gate.

Just a thought.
Nice Townhomes off post, off of Rucker Blvd are $90-100k and with the VA loan rates under 3% you can save a ton of money ($500 mortgage) and build equity and if you wanna keep it will rent out for double and pay for itself. And only a 10min drive to Post

When I was there in 2015–2018, we lived in Allen Heights which are duplex ranch style housing, the house itself was nice, down fall was that the laundry room was outside in the shed area but protected from rain due awning over our driveway. It was a 3 bedroom 2 bath house.

I lived in Enterprize during flight school. I lived on post, right on Red Cloud Rd. during AOAC and for my follow on assignment. That was so long ago that it probably would not matter what I said.
