What option do you consider easiest to contact your VA primary care provider for medical info and appointments?

I don't use VA Healthcare but for my regular doctor I use the Kaiser web site which seems to work pretty well.

SGT Private RallyPoint Member for me, calling gets it done. I attribute that to the excellent VA staff here. I wish every VA had the kind of staff Columbia does.

I mainly use the VA for device related stuff and go in annually. For most things, I use secure messaging. The response through messaging from the VA here has been pretty food.

Calling on the phone you might be on hold for fifteen minutes! Secure messaging thru MyHealthevet works well for refills and you can do scheduling and ask questions too.

I usually call to make an appointment, but for just about anything else I use the My HealtheVet website and occasionally Secure Messaging within it if I want to have a conversation about something in a lab report.

I make my appointments prior to leaving the clinic. MyHealtheVet for meds.
