To this day I still use my Alice Pack, comes in handy for a 4 day class for work, when i stay at a motel out of town, and still use the old laundry bag as well.

Cpl Rick Lingard - Nope when I went IRR the supply Sgt said I could have it, mine was camo, the ones they had were O.D. green.

Because space was very limited on sub, civilian clothes always on the bottom, (at the time) dungarees, socks, white undershirts, boxers, poopie suits, cigarettes, portable electronics. Dress uniforms were in a separate garment bag.
