If you eat that way, most OTC drugs won&#39;t be needed. As for medicinal plants, my wife loves peppermint oil for sore muscles. Don&#39;t have anything else we use consistently, or need, for that matter. My wife is a big time &quot;essential oils&quot; user. I have a whole medicine cabinet full of them but I seldom use them. I don&#39;t like taking anything, period. I know we don&#39;t always have that choice but we can certainly limit it. <br /><br />I think you are mixing OTC drugs and common household use products a bit. I don&#39;t consider cooking oil, toothpaste or vinegar to be OTC drugs or replacements for some of them.
