Strong on defense, enabling the force to shape itself for a future conflict, allowing experienced leaders to disagree and actually consider their position when forming policy.
Secures the border and treats illegal immigration as the crime it is.
Suspends NAFTA until North American countries participate in measures to stop illegal immigration and drug smuggling. Once the measures are satisfactory, renegotiates NAFTA to encourage higher rates of export and a return of incentive for companies to manufacture goods in the US.
Returns the country to a position of respect within the international community by establishing diplomacy with peace in mind but strength to back their position.
Addresses taxation to encourage growth through private sector investment instead of debt accumulation. (Lower tax rates encourage higher financial flows, resulting in overall higher tax revenue.)
Returns the country to work by taking the painful but necessary step of returning to
the workfare idea, and using taxation policy to encourage private sector growth as described above which will enlarge the available job numbers.
Removes the NSA from the lives of private citizens and returns to the concepts of investigation and evidence gathering described in the Bill of Rights. Turns the NSA resources back toward the foreign bad guys.
Drop the ACA. Remove state borders from previous competitive insurance system and allow higher degree of choice when choosing companies and plans. Explore tort reform to help reduce medical practice insurance rates and in turn help reduce overall health care costs.
End the birth control debate by enabling county level health departments to screen patients, prescribe birth control, and provide it free of charge ending the requirement of religious institutions to provide it that is taking up way too much time and resources in the courts.
Get out of the private citizens bedrooms.
Once out of the bedroom and birth control is free of charge, end the on going massacre of abortion except in cases of rape, crime, and situations effecting the health of the mother.
Ask the DOJ to investigate the IRS targeting scandal and prosecute Lois Lerner as well as her accomplices if reasonable suspicion exists.

Someone looking to put America back where she belongs. Institute strong borders.
Someone with the stones to institute some overhaul of a few major financial issues-Welfare and Taxes.
Don't see it happening, so it may come down to who appears to be the best possible candidate...

I am looking for a candidate that represents the people, not their party. I want to see someone who learns and adapts, not someone stuck on the same plans they had in the 70's. but most of all i want someone who isn't a politician or at least doesn't fit in with the other politicians.

Honesty is most important followed by intelligence. You have to show charisma and have a great personality too. Last but not least, the President has to put thier pride aside and work with Congress to develop laws and policies that will help our nation regardless of what political party has come up with the potential changes.

I'm prepared to vote for anyone who advocates that government leave us the hell alone. I'm prepared to support your right to be left alone no matter how crazy your beliefs so long as you don't impose them on me and allow me to my own crazy beliefs. Government can't create jobs. It doesn't have the right to take anything from anyone just to give to another. It can't do any of the thousand of things for which it has created bureaucracies any better than we can do them for ourselves. Anyone who promises any of these things immediately disqualifies themselves in my eyes. Defend the nation. Enforce criminal laws. That's about all I expect. Sadly, none of the goons in the District of Calamity is doing any of this well because they're too distracted taking from the rich to buy the votes of the poor. Thus, any candidate who promises to stop those practices will get a chance from me. If they fail to keep that promise, let's vote the bum out and try someone else. Political parties? Don't have much use for them. They all fail...

I would like to see some humility... No one man can know everything that is needed to be a modern American President. There has to be an awareness that they are fallible, but are able to pull on the greatest resources of the world to answer the issues.

I'm looking for a future president who has the ability to work across and between political boundaries. One who can negotiate compromises that will work for both major parties on issues that transcend "Democrats" or "Republicans." I want a president who has a plan to balance the nation's budget and operate with a surplus for the duration of their term or terms. This doesn't mean erasing a debt that wasn't created overnight, but if one president can operate in the black for four years (and yes I completely understand a lot of this is on congress) it will be contagious and we will begin to dig ourselves out of our debt. I am looking for a president who has a plan to take care of our Veterans, and who will honor agreements with our allies (whether those commitments are years, decades, or centuries old). I am looking for a president that can help remedy the polarization within our nation, whether that only lasts for his/her term or continues on after. I want a president, who although he must align with a political party to succeed, does not shun the ideas of those who are on the other side of the fence. A president who utilizes all of his human resources to make the most educated decisions in the best interest of our country.

One productive term (or two even better) can hold all the healing our nation needs.

Integrity, honesty, heterosexual and willing to commit to no troops on foreign soil unless we are protecting an American asset or, A World War is declared. Complete revamping of the tax code as Carly Fiorina says from 70,000 to 3 pages. Flat tax across all income classes of 10%. Create incentives for US manufacturers to move all operations back to this country to create jobs. Do away with Obamacare (ACA) but work toward a single payer system and make the companies compete for that privilege. Close the northern and southern borders. Term limits for Congress.
