What publication covers how ALARACTs are written?

What publication covers how ALARACTs are written? FM 5-0 indicated that we were supposed to move to Title Case. FM 5-0 was superseded by ADRP 5-0, but I cannot find any reference to Title Case.

I guess I am not understanding your question fully? ALARACT's are used by the Army Staff at the Pentagon as strategic communication to spread information quickly down to the Company Commander level so they can execute. I am wondering WHAT about ALARACT's being written do you want to know?

Ah, ok. I can answer this then. An ALARACT is a type of United States Military Text Format (USMTF) message. Those are "old school" messages that are still a DoD standard today for a lot of our combat mission command systems, even though most people do not understand how to use them. All USMTF messages are all caps, and that is probably because all caps was the only things back when computers were first used.

MAJ (Join to see) who do we contact to try and get the system modernized? MILPERs are no longer all caps. At some point someone must have asked the right question to the right person in order to make that happen.
