To get a promotion wavier, you have to show that you are the BEST, for them to bend the regs for.

Quick and relatively easy ways to stand out;
-Score 290 or better on your APFT and Fire Expert on your assigned Weapon.
-Enroll in college classes if you don't have a degree.
- Volunteer for Soldier of the Month or Quarter Boards .
